New Blood 2010 WINNERS

After attending last nights D&AD New Blood Exhibition on Brick Lane we are proud to say we have been picked as winners of New Blood 2010.

Take a look to see our names up in lights, www.d&ad.org. It was a fantastic evening filled with exciting industry people, some great competition from other university's, and last but not least... Free booze! We are both chuffed to bits as the standard of work was excellent.

The award's are tonight and the event continues until Monday, so if you haven't had to chance to get down yet make sure you do before the event is over.

The past week - Ogilvy and finishing uni

Well.. It's all over. University = done!

Presentation went as well as we could of hoped for. We had a crazy rush around Thursday daytime finishing everything off, and then off to London for an amazing evening at Ogilvy.

Portfolio 8 was being held over 32 cities on 20th May 2010, and we were lucky enough to get a space at the London evening.

It began with some free drinks and nibbles followed by 5 book crit's with some of the biggest creative directors in the business, including John O'Keefe! It was an honour to say the least!

We had some great feedback and at the last minute changed one of our Body Shop lines for our next day hand in, which we were very happy about.

After the book crits, there was a chance to mingle with Ogilvy creatives and the creative directors which was great. Met lots of people and caught up with a few old creatives we knew as well.

We are even more determined to make it in the London agency scene now, which is great!

Our presentation on Friday was the last of around 12 presentations, so we were wary of how to angle this to our advantage. Lucky enough we had done lots of practising with a little help from the European marketing manager of Clarks, who happens to present for a living!

Results are out next Friday so we shall update you with how our results go, but for now we will leave you with a few pic's from the previous week.

There has got to be an easier way?! Friends of the Earth

A street drama, or PR stunt, focusing around objects which use a large amount of energy being replaced by human effort.

Really exaggerated and fun examples which will most definitely attract the attention of the passer by!

Kings Cross has just over 100,000 people passing through the station everyday so thought this would be a great place to have a stunt.

Life is Sweet! - Jelly Babies

Our Jelly Babies campaign is one of our fav's. Its aimed towards teenagers and the concept all revolves around sharing and having your say... hence the website full of caption competitions and the digital billboards.

FedEx

A campaign we are entering to our Friday presentation. We also have a little suprise in store for the 2 guys marking our presentation, Nick and Maurice.

We have managed to get hold of a contact within their agency and found out some 'office gossip' and written them personalised letters from FedEx.. We'll let you know how it goes!

Our Work

Seeing as our blogspot is on our business stamps we thought a clever idea would be to upload a bit of work for everyone to see.

So here goes...
